Upstream transit intermittency: NTT

Starting at 1613 20/05/2022, Ekco's monitoring systems detected some intermittency relating to the upstream provider NTT. While Ekco peer with NTT, there was no impact on the Ekco platform, as the NTT core router experiencing issues was unrelated to Ekco's traffic flow.

However, some customers with circuits or VPNs via third-party providers may have seen some intermittency during this time, given NTT's position as one of the largest carriers on the internet.

NTT have since confirmed that they have stabilized the router in question, and our monitors to third-party destinations cleared as of 1816 20/05/2022.
